Sitting in my office this evening, I was delighted to find the following announcement from the wonderful people at the Michelson Museum of Art in downtown Marshall, Texas! You won’t want to miss this one!
“The Michelson Museum of Art is pleased to announce Decisions by Sarah Fisher on view from March 3 through April 30, 2022. Sarah Fisher records the human need to be authentically seen. Working in a variety of media, Fisher creates two- and three-dimensional portraits of herself and people she knows, loves, and encounters. Her subjects share a strong sense of self and a willingness to be known.
Houston artist, Sarah Fisher, will be at the Museum during the Opening Reception that will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. She will give a Gallery Talk at 6:00 pm.
If you are free, make plans to attend. And if you feel extra adventurous, as you should, you can stop by the opening reception of the March Madness Art Show at the Marshall Place Gallery on March 3 from 4-5:30 pm and then head down to the Michelson.”
